On a summer day, June 16th, 2023, our love journey began. We met through a dating app. We lived two hours apart. At that time, Ria was just two days away from leaving for a two-month holiday in Jakarta. We continued getting to know each other through phone calls, video calls, and constant chatting. On July 25th, we officially became a couple.

Two months passed, and Ria returned to Norway. We finally decided to meet in person for the very first time. Even though we had heard each other’s voices and seen each other’s faces many times over the phone, meeting in real life still made us feel nervous.

Our relationship continued to grow, and we decided to meet once a week.

In October 2023, we got engaged. Many people said it was too fast to take such a serious step after only a few months. But our feelings were too deep and strong, and we were confident in taking our relationship to the next level.

After two years of being together, we finally decided to move forward to marriage.

Our story may seem short, but we believe and trust that Allah SWT has planned it all.
